  • Where are you located?

    Brooknelle Pet Hotel is located at 4600 Knapp St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525.

  • What should I bring for my pet's overnight stay?

    We encourage you to bring items from home to make your pet's stay more comfortable, such as beds, blankets, towels, toys, and nylabones. Please ensure that bedding is machine washable. You can also bring your pet’s food in a labeled, waterproof container, or we can provide Science Diet Sensitive Stomach food.

  • Can I call and get an update during my pets stay?

    Absolutely! We understand how important it is to stay connected with your pet. Feel free to call us for updates anytime during your pet’s stay. Pets are family; if able, we can send a quick photo of your pet.



  • Does my pet need to be vaccinated?

    Yes, all pets must be up to date on vaccinations.


    Dogs: Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper

    Cats: Rabies and Distemper


    Please email the vaccination records to  brooknellehotel@gmail.com before your pet’s arrival to ensure a smooth check-in process.

  • Does my dog get to play outside with other dogs?

    For the safety of all our guests, we do not blend dogs unless requested by pet parents who know each other. Each dog enjoys individual one-on-one attention and time in our spacious outdoor play areas.

  • Will you administer medication for my pet?

    Yes, we provide medication administration for any of our boarding guests for a small additional fee. Please inform our staff of any medical needs during check-in, such as making sure the medication is clearly labeled and when and how to administer it. Clear directions are very important. Keeping your pet healthy is our top priority during their stay here at Brooknelle Pet Hotel.
